Terms & Conditions

•Most UK venues require a facility fee, which you the client are responsible for negotiating and paying.

•Any discount agreed is purely subject to credit. If money is not paid in full within 30 days, discount may not apply.

•Unless stated otherwise, invoices to be paid 50% upfront before commencement of any work, 50% following work completion, due within 30 days from stated invoice date. Final payment is to be made in full, cleared funds before the release of any masters from jamDVD.

•Insurance coverage of any work undertaken, including but not limited to film shoots, audio recordings, post production material / masters whilst being worked on, is subject to jamDVDs policy and the insurers terms and conditions. Insurance cover terminates once any tapes/rushes leave jamDVD regardless of whether work is recommenced at a later stage. Insurance coverage is for a limited period, normally 3months.

•Unless otherwise arranged, clients tapes, rushes, drives, discs, masters and other working material, which was not filmed or recorded by jamDVD, is not covered by jamDVD insurance. Tapes, materials, masters and equipment in transit or with couriers are of client’s responsibility. Insurance arranged per project is subject to jamDVDs policy and the insurers terms and conditions.

• Whilst every effort is made to ensure the security of the post production facility, any property including but not limited to equipment, master tapes, hard drives, disks, instruments and personal effects left in the facility is entirely at the risk of the owner in the event of theft, or other unexpected events, any loss or damage will not be compensated by jamDVD’s or the studio’s insurance.

•Clients understand and agree that jamDVD does not keep back-ups of recordings or rushes and you will assume all responsibility for safekeeping of the masters and ensure you have arranged and paid for relevant backups required once work is completed.

•You, the client agrees that jamDVD may use clips of work done for its own use, solely on a promotional basis for jamDVD including but not limited to jamDVD’s show-reel.

•You agree work done by all technicians and personnel working for jamDVD will be rightfully and appropriately credited on all artwork, media and in press and promotional releases. Credits to include all personnel who are working for jamDVD with a separate credit for jamDVD and jamDVD logo as the “production company”. Credits to be approved by duly authorized representative of jamDVD.
